Death

Secluded in a place no one can depart,
A place mesmeric to kith and kin,
Or was to be burnt and placed in an urn
But kindred know thee can never return.
Let nostalgia bring lost back
if you demur the inexistence,
Let pictorial memories be in a stack
But the figure in a fortress be deep in the dark.
Were shall you place thee,
Below the tulips that mourn the gone,
Beneath the willow where the sun cannot see
Or where the rain cannot creep.
The sun rises and sets
Like in the ground shall return,
In your life live your best
Thou wrought, peace be at rest.
