To move forward
there were a few
glimmers this year,
small splinters of
diamonds among all
the rough;
I heard this year was
the year of the snake
where we shed things
and people no longer
serving us—
I am hoping 2026,
the year of the horse;
is a kinder year to me
A year where i am stronger
yet also blooming and thriving—
This year took more from
me than it gave,
and i don't know if i will
ever forgive it;
but i do know i have no
choice but to move forward.
